The streets of Downtown Boise will be overrun by bicycles and spectators on Saturday for the 22nd annual Wells Fargo Twilight Criterium.
This year's race has a new course because of construction and the expansion of the Capital City Farmers Market. But the course opens up multiple parking garages and access to Downtown, race organizers said.
The new course includes much of the previous footprint of 9th, Main and Idaho but will now include 10th, Grove and Bannock.
These are the day's events:
11 a.m.: 9th Street southbound from Bannock will be closed.
1 p.m.: Roads around the race area will close.
2:30 p.m.: Course opens
3 p.m.: Ride with Kristin Armstrong kids event begins
4 to 7 p.m.: Amateur races
7 p.m.: Opening ceremony
7:10 p.m.: Professional races begin
10 p.m.: Awards ceremony
Midnight: Roads open

Children ages 5-10 are invited to ride with Olympian Kristin Armstrong in the St. Luke's/EMI Kids Ride, which begins at 3 p.m. at 10th and Main streets and will follow the criterium course through the finish line.
The event is free for kids. However, parents must register their children online at www.boisetwilightcriterium.com and then check in with their children on the day of the event, starting at 2:30 p.m.
All participants must wear a helmet.
Before and after the kids' ride, Armstrong will be available for autographs in the Idaho Statesman booth.
