Emily Simnitt is a native Idahoan who has written for the Idaho Statesman since 2000. In spring 2006, she became the paper's first online reporter, a job that allows her to surf the Internet with impunity and answers the question about what you can do with a Masters degree in English. She's proud to live with her husband and her cranky cat on Boise's Bench. When she's not online, she's likely riding her Cruiser bike with her laptop looking for a coffee shop with wireless access.
