32-year-old man accused of sex crime against minor in Nampa

Nampa police who were investigating a report of unwanted people on private property Tuesday morning found evidence of a sex crime.

Police were called to 16549 N. Marketplace Blvd. at about 8 a.m. Tuesday. There, they found a 32-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl. Upon investigating the situation, officers determined the man — Kenneth P. Tate — had committed a crime.

Tate, who has no known residence, was charged with felony sexual battery of a minor child who is 16 or 17. He was booked into Canyon County Jail.
