Casting call: Filmmaker Connor Williams is looking for a few good actors

Young filmmaker Connor Williams is casting his first feature film. This talented Eagle High School senior has been acting in films for several years and is now ready to step into the director’s role.

He will be holding an open call from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. July 17 at Urban Talent, 816 W. Bannock St., inside the Garro Building, in Downtown Boise. No appointment necessary. The production will film this summer in the Treasure Valley.

Here are the roles he wants to fill:

Lead:

Aisha 15-19, Muslim/Indian teen. Must have traditional scarf/dress-lead

Supporting roles

Officer Stafford preferably a minority 35-50. Needs strong acting chops

Counselor: strong male or female actor ages 40 or older

Minor roles:

Clerk 20-28, Hot, 2 scenes

Mrs. Avery 35-50, brunette, 2 scenes

Jessica Avery 15-19, preferably brunette, 2 scenes

Mr. Ali 35-50, wear traditional clothes, 2 scenes

Mrs. Ali 35-50, wear traditional dress 2 scenes

Parents: five roles for either male or female actors, ages 35-60. 1 scene.
