Boise seeks public feedback on Molenaar Park master plan

Boise - The Idaho StatesmanJuly 15, 2014

The city is inviting neighbors to a public meeting hosted by Boise Parks & Recreation to discuss the master plan for Molenaar Diamond Park in Southwest Boise.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. July 23 at West Junior High School, 8371 W Salt Creek Court. The now-undeveloped park is at 2815 S. Maple Grove Road in Boise. The city created a master plan in 2000 for the park. It includes proposed improvements like soccer fields, a practice field, open play areas, shelters, restrooms, a skateboard park, and a fishing pond.

The city has allocated some of the funding for the improvements. Construction will begin in 2015.

Read more about plans for the park and see the current master plan online.
