3 of 4 arrested in connection to SW Idaho killing

— Three of four people wanted in connection with the weekend shooting death of a 25-year-old Nampa man in southwest Idaho have been taken into custody.

Police on Monday arrested 28-year-old James Whitewater, 27-year-old Natalie Whitewater, and 32-year-old Wayne Canaday.

James Whitewater faces a charge of first-degree murder, while Natalie Whitewater and Canaday face charges of aiding and abetting aggravated battery.

Police responded at 2:45 a.m. Sunday to a reported shooting and found Pedro Martin Jr. in a drugstore parking lot with a gunshot wound to his torso. Martin was taken to the hospital, where he died.

Police are still looking for 34-year-old Allison Yancey of Middleton. A warrant has been issued on a charge of aiding and abetting aggravated battery.
