Boise VA will host community conversation on homeless veterans

Posted by Anna Webb on July 14, 2014

The Boise VA will host a community conversation titled: "Transitioning out of Homelessness: Multiple Modalities” on Wednesday, July 16th from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Boise VA gymnasium, Building 119, 500 W. Fort St. in Boise.

A variety of the community’s homeless providers will participate in the conversation by sharing information on the populations of veterans they serve and different models that guide current treatments and interventions.

Attendees will also receive information about ways to get involved with this issue and help efforts to stem and prevent veteran homelessness.

Participating agencies include the Boise VA Medical Center, Supportive Housing & Innovative Partnerships, Boise Rescue Mission and Interfaith Sancuary.
