Caldwell woman dies after struck on mobility scooter

Brenda Sisco, 48, attempted to cross Cleveland Boulevard, just east of East Linden Street in Caldwell at about 10:25 p.m. while riding a battery-operated mobility scooter.

She was struck by a 2000 Ford Mustang driven west by Joshua Sullivan, 18, of Nampa. The car hit Sisco and then ran into a telephone pole, according to a report from the Idaho State Police.

Sisco died at the scene, police said.

Cleveland Boulevard was closed for about three hours.

The crash is under investigation by the ISP.
