Statesman top 10 stories deadline extended

Boise - The Idaho StatesmanJuly 11, 2014

You know you have an opinion about the Idaho Statesman and the importance the newspaper attaches to the stories we run.

For once, you have a chance to tell the Statesman exactly how important those stories are. As part of our 150th anniversary celebration, we are inviting readers to vote on their favorites for top 10 stories in our history.

This follows on the "Top 50" series we published between May 18 and July 6. A committee picked those 50 stories from more than 100 candidate topics.

Now, you pick the top 10. The winners will be published in a special section that runs July 26 — the Statesman's 150th birthday.

This is a fun process that only takes as long as you want it to. So take a few minutes, log on to the voting website...and enjoy.

Idaho Statesman is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news. Some of the comments may be reprinted elsewhere in the site or in the newspaper. We encourage lively, open debate on the issues of the day, and ask that you refrain from profanity, hate speech, personal comments and remarks that are off point. Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
