Local golfers advance to Big 'I' national tournament

BOISE - More than 50 boys and girls wrapped up competition at the Idaho Trusted choice Big "I" Championship at Shadow Valley Golf Course on Thursday.

The top two boys - Columbia's Greg Law (139) and Capital's Hayden Ritter (140) - along with the top two girls - Bishop Kelly's Haley Nist (143) and Madison's Kara Martin (155) - earned spots in the national tournament in Bridgeport, W.Va., which runs Aug. 5-8 at Pete Dye Club.
