They're all about to be bike lanes: The 28th annual Boise Twilight Criterium takes over Downtown on Saturday, so be prepared for the road closures: 9th Street between Jefferson and Grove will close at 11 a.m; 10th Street between Jefferson and Grove will close at 1 p.m.; and Bannock, Idaho, Main and Grove between 9th and 10th will close at 1. Full day of racing: Registration for the Kids' Ride with Kristin Armstrong, Boise's two-time Olympic gold medalist, will begin at 1 p.m. Armstrong will be signing autographs at that time, too. The ride will start at 2:30 p.m. Racing begins at 3:15 p.m.
It really heats up at night: The official opening ceremony is at 6:50 p.m., with the women's pro race at 7 and the men's pro race set to go off at 8:15. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 10 p.m.
