TROUT STOCKING CONTINUES THROUGHOUT JULY

More than 38,000 pan-size rainbow trout are being released throughout Southwest Idaho by Idaho Fish and Game in July.

Here are some of the areas being stocked:

• McCall area: Big Creek, July 14,250; Lower Boulder Reservoir, July 7, 1,000; Goose Creek, July 21, 250; Gold Fork River, July 21, 750; Lake Fork Creek, July 14, 600; N.F. Lake Fork Creek, July 14, 600; Northwest Passage Pond, July 7, 500; Payette Lake, July 14, 1,000; N.F. Payette River, July 14, 3,750; Poormans Pond, July 7, 250; and Warren Dredge Ponds, July 21, 1,000.

• Cascade area: Clear Creek, July 14, 300; Tripod Reservoir, July 7, 1,200.

• Boise area: Boise River (above Glenwood Bridge), July 7, 21, 2,000/1,000; Boise River (below Glenwood), July 7, 21, 2,000/1,000.

• Idaho City area: M.F. Boise River, July 21, 2,000; N.F. Boise River, July 7, 21, 2,000/2,000; Crooked River, July 1, 1,000; Grimes Creek, July 1, 1,000.

• Nampa area: Wilson Springs, July 1, 14, 28, 300 each; Wilson Springs Ponds, July 1, 7, 14, 21, 28, 400 each.

• Marsing Pond: July 1, 500.

• Garden Valley area: Silver Creek (Crouch), July 1, 14, 28, 750 each; M.F. Payette River, July 1, 14, 28, 750 each.

• Bull Trout Lake area (between Lowman and Stanley): Bull Trout Lake, July 14, 1,500; Martin Lake, July 14, 1,000

• Lowman: 10 Mile Ponds, July 1, 14, 750 each.
