Letter: Creationist museum

July 6, 2014

Life created by God in six days thousands of years ago instead of evolving over millions of years, as is the consensus of the scientific community - they're planning on building a museum to this fable in Boise. What utter rubbish.

Perhaps they should also arrange for a fund drive, sponsored by the Flat Earth Society? Maybe they should see about discounts for memberships to that organization? A two-for-one package?

One has to wonder about the qualifications to work at that museum. Obviously anyone who has visited the Grand Canyon, or even suggested such a place exists, should not be considered for employment. Likewise if you've visited the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. Students taking courses in geology, or for that matter any of the sciences should obviously be rejected for possible employment at a creationist museum.
