Letter: Music appreciation

July 5, 2014

Thank you to the 5th grade class at the Pioneer School of The Arts for a wonderful evening of a historical /musical performance of the enactment of the Civil War. Each student had the opportunity to be on stage and perform and it was wonderful. These children will never forget the history they learned through this enactment of the Civil War. Thank you to all the teachers that helped with this program and especially to Corlyss Peterson, who is a wonderfully gifted musician. I know I can speak for everyone that attended the program that it was so enjoyable, and I am convinced if we had more of these wonderful musical programs, there would be more peace in the world, because it just brings out the best in everyone.
