Check out The Cabin's summer adult writing workshops

The Cabin's A Word workshops are a chance to take a summer break to reinvigorate your writing style and approach. The focus will be on creating and critiquing.

“Writing Life” with A.K. Turner is 9 a.m.-noon July 14-18 at The Cabin. Turner is a Boise writer and humorist whose work is featured in several literary anthologies and essay collections. A former writer-in-residence and creator of "The Writers' Block" on Radio Boise, she frequently teaches workshops on writing, humor, promotion, and publishing. Cost: $210 general, $175 for Cabin members "Writing Life" with Daniel Stewart is 9 a.m.-noon Aug. 4-8 at The Cabin. Stewart is a former Writer in the Schools and summer camp instructor for The Cabin and the author of several poetry collections. Cost: $210 general, $175 for Cabin members.
