Sweet cowboy wins bull riding at Reno Rodeo

Zeb Lanham, 30, earned $12,110 in the weekend event, beating Ty Pozzobon of Merritt, British Columbia by a point and Shane Proctor of Grand Coulee, Wash., by two points.

This year, Lanham has also won the Cave Creek, Ariz., Fiesta Days Rodeo and the Coors Pro Rodeo in Gillette, Wyo. He has earned $23,712 so far this year and is ranked 25th in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association standings.

Paul Coppini of Kuna is 20th, with $27,845 and Dallee Mason of Weiser is 30th with $21,015.

Rob Webb and Dan Webb of Wendell were second in team roping at Reno. Jade Stoddard of St. Anthony and Ike Folsom of Dillon, Mont., were 10th.

Megan McLeod of Star was fifth in barrel racing.
