Update: No one injured in I-84 crash near Cloverdale Road

June 28, 2014

A non-injury accident on Interstate 84 near South Cloverdale Road Saturday afternoon blocked the eastbound lanes near Cloverdale Road.

Garry Hussey, 38, of Boise was headed east in a 1990 Ford Bronco when he failed to stop in time and struck a 2000 Cadillac. The Cadillac, driven by Keith Hadley, 90, of Walla Walla, Wash., then hit a 2005 Chrysler van driven by Natalie Robinson, 22, of Boise.

Early reports from police dispatchers said there were injuries, but that turned out to be untrue, according to a report from the Idaho State Police.

The left two lanes were blocked for about an hour while crews worked to clear the scene. By 5 p.m., traffic had backed up to Meridian Road.

The accident was reported at 3:44 p.m. and Idaho State troopers and other emergency personnel are on the scene.

The crash is still under investigation.
