Man hospitalized after vehicle crashes into Boise house

A motorist was hospitalized Wednesday after his vehicle crashed into the front of a house on Phillippi Street in Boise. The injuries to the man — who is in his 80s — were not believed to be life-threatening, according to police.

The crash occurred just after 3 p.m. in the 1200 block of Phillippi Street.

The Toyota RAV drove through the front wall and window of the house. No one was at home at the time.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash. No citations have been issued.

The front window of the house was boarded up on Thursday.
