Glad to see the bike lanes have been "scrubbed." Not only are they dangerous, as at the intersection turning from 6th onto Main, allowing cars to park on the street next to the bike lane also is not a good idea. Several times this week in this area, three different bicyclists have run red lights in front of me when I had the green and was proceeding straight ahead. I honked at one of them and received the "high sign" when he drove by - as I almost broadsided him. Cyclists need to realize they do not own the road and - I believe - should obey all traffic laws as done by motorists.
