Two injured in Nampa crash

The driver of a Chevrolet Cavalier headed north on 11th Avenue North failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the side of a Ford F-250 pickup headed west on Ustick Road on Wednesday morning, Nampa police said.

The driver of the Cavalier, a 56-year-old man, was taken to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise with possible critical head and body injuries, police said. The driver of the pickup, a 46-year-old man, was taken first to St. Luke's Meridian Medical Center and then to Saint Alphonsus with possible serious injuries, police said.

The drivers, who were alone in their vehicles, were not publicly identified by police.
