Spokane hands Boise Hawks their seventh straight loss


SPOKANE - Alberto Triunfel went 2-for-4 with a home run to lead the Indians past the Hawks 7-3 on Tuesday at Avista Stadium.

Jesse Hodges hit a two-run homer for the Hawks (4-8), who are in the midst of their longest losing streak since dropping eight straight in 2010.

Spokane (10-1) is off to the best start in the franchise's 100-year history.

The teams' five-game series ends Wednesday.
