Valley sheriff: Coeur d'Alene man dies when ATV rolls over

Jerry Tucker, 70, was riding near Profile Summit between Yellow Pine and Big Creek when his 2011 Honda ATV left the roadway and rolled down an embankment into a creek, according to the Valley County Sheriff's Office.

Tucker was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene, the sheriff's office says.

The incident happened Thursday morning. The sheriff's office announced the death on Monday.

The death is still under investigation.
