A section of Orchard Street near the Boise Airport is closed Friday evening while the Boise Fire Department extinguishes a truck fire and crews clean up the debris.

The closure, from Wright Street to Gowen Road, started around 5 p.m. and was expected to remain closed for several hours, Boise Fire Marshal Romeo Gervais reported via twitter.

The truck was reportedly hauling a trailer full of cardboard or similar material, which caught fire.
