— The Canyon County Board of Commissioners will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new $6.5 million Canyon County Administration Building at 2 p.m. Monday, June 23.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will be followed by an open house and tours of the building.

The three-story, 50,000-square-foot building, located in Caldwell at 111 N. 11th Ave., just west of the Courthouse, will house the Assessor, Clerk, Treasurer, Development Services, Indigent Services and Public Defender's offices, as well as a new public meeting room.

County offices and employees will begin moving into the building on June 27; the building will be fully staffed and operational by July 21.
