Boise High chooses new cross country coach

BOISE — Cori Mooney, the current co-head coach of the Braves' track and field team, was promoted to head cross country coach after serving as an assistant since 2011. The 1998 Boise State graduate was an assistant at Bishop Kelly from 2004 to 2008, and was named the 4A Girls Cross Country Coach of the Year in 2007. Mooney also has eight years of experience as a sponsored, professional runner and was a member of the 2004 World Championship Half Marathon Team, which finished 15th in the 2003 Boston Marathon and 12th in the U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials.
