Standup paddleboarder Kai Lenny, on the yellow board, leads an armada down the cold Boise River on Wednesday, the day Barber Park officially opened for floating. Light rain and temperatures in the 60s kept most tubers and kayakers away, but the boarders were fine — if they stayed upright. Lenny was preparing for this weekend’s Payette River Games in Cascade.
