SALMON SEASON OPENS JUNE 21 ON TWO WATERS
Limits on the South Fork of the Salmon River and the Upper Salmon River will be four fish per day. Only two of those fish may be adults. The possession limit will be 12 fish. Only six of those fish may be adults.

EXPERTS TO TALK ABOUT WATER FLOWS IN BOISE RIVER
A free program, a walk along the Boise River to learn about river flows and water-quality monitoring, will start at 6 p.m., Tuesday, June 24, at the Garden City Library, 6015 Glenwood St.
John Heimer, a retired Idaho Fish and Game biologist, who is known at "Mr. Boise River," and Alexandra Etheridge, of the U.S. Geological Survey, will talk about the river. For more information go to idahorivers.org, one of the sponsors of the walk.

Bird expert Terry Rich will teach the session from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the Jim Hall Foothills Learning Center, 3188 Sunset Peak Road.
No preregistration required. Binoculars and bird books will be available to borrow. No pets are allowed.
