Letter: End the wars

June 18, 2014

I had a dream last night in which I told Pete Seeger (the folksong musician) that I am a Quaker and don't believe in bombs of any kind. After the dream, I thought of Martin Luther King, who said that we as humans have two ways to go. He said it is a matter of either nonviolence or complete annihilation. Can we think about giving up on war and saying together, "War is over"? May it be so.
