One airline's flights spill over, boosting Boise Airport numbers

June 18, 2014

Thousands of passengers who flew into and out of the Boise Airport on United Express-Shuttle America between December and March went uncounted at the time. The airport added them to the tally for April. As a result, April's total passenger count was inflated by about 6,000 people. When those backlogged passengers were taken out of the calculation, the Boise Airport had a 0.5 percent rise in incoming passengers and a 1.2 percent drop in departing passengers in April, year-over-year.
