Ada County pet of the week: Carson

Ada County pet of the week: Carson

Carson, 1, is a neutered male, tan and black, Pug and Beagle mix. Carson is a hilarious dog with a spunky and playful personality and too-cute looks. Despite being a smaller dog, only 22 pounds, he is an active guy. He'll need a family that is mindful of his need for daily exercise. He will sit and shake hands on command and is very capable of learning more. Carson still behaves like a puppy and will benefit from an owner encouraging good manners and discouraging things like mouthing and rough housing. He loves giving enthusiastic kisses to whomever talks to him. Carson has done well with dogs of all sizes at the shelter and will likely do well with children who are old enough to assist in his training and handle his excitable nature.

Carson (#22826465) can be found at the Idaho Humane Society's PetSmart Adoption Center, 130 N. Milwaukee, Boise. The adoption center is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
