Forged checks linked to Boise car break-ins

Two Georgia residents were arrested Thursday after Boise police and Ada County sheriff's deputies accused the pair of stealing wallets and purses during vehicle burglaries.

Octavious Walker, 25, of Jackson, Ga., was charged with three counts of felony burglary and three counts of grand theft.

His alleged accomplice, Carolyn Paige Griffith, 36, of Tifton, Ga., was charged with three counts of grand theft and two counts of burglary. She is accused of cashing a check stolen from one of the cars that was illegally entered.

Both defendants were arraigned Thursday. Bond was set at $250,000 for Walker and $150,000 for Griffith.

The investigation is ongoing and Boise police said additional charges are possible.
