Suspect apprehended shortly after Boise convenience store robbery

Jeremy Lee Jacobson, 29, of Idaho Falls, was arrested less than an hour after a robber entered the Jackson's Food Store at 791 N. Garden St. at 9:49 p.m. Thursday, threatened a clerk and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers with the Boise Police Department located Jacobson at 10:30 p.m. and determined that he was the suspect in the robbery, based upon descriptions provided by witnesses.

Jacobson was taken to the Ada County Jail, where he was charged with felony robbery.

He is scheduled to be arraigned later Friday in Ada County Court.
