On May 28 Chuck Egan wrote in defense of Dano Savino that he has been a victim of left-wing politics. No, I'm sure his letters would still appear here if they met the reasonable editorial standards of the Idaho Statesman. They were nothing but empty, attention-seeking rants against imaginary ideological enemies. Has Egan read them? Egan implied having an open mind. Perhaps he might meet with Savino and attempt to broaden his worldview. He can start by reading David Proctor's letter on May 29, from which I quote, "No, you're not a liberal. You merely benefit from all the good liberals have done over the past 238 years."
