Music club The Crux wins legal dispute with building owner

Posted on June 12, 2014

A judge has ruled that music venue The Crux, 1022 W. Main St., can rock on.

As I reported in April, The Crux and its California-based building owner disagree about rent money. Today, a judge sided with The Crux, dismissing the building owner's legal action against the all-ages club.

That's good news for live-music fans. It's looking like a busy summer at The Crux.

A representative of local building manager Pro Properties says that future litigation from the building owner is probable.
