Boise man accused of trying to run down 3 with car

Jerry C. Keeley, 56, of Boise was arrested Saturday afternoon after witnesses reported a man tried to run over three people on a lawn in the area of West Canal Street and West Victory Road, Boise police report.

The vehicle hit one person, causing minor injuries, police said. The victims and Keeley were reportedly involved in an ongoing dispute, police said.

Keeley remained in the Ada County Jail Monday evening charged with two felony counts of aggravated battery and felony possession of methamphetamine.

When police investigated the initial report, they found Keeley in possession of a white crystal substance identified through preliminary testing as methamphetamine.
