Boise police are investigating a reported sexual assault on the Greenbelt beneath the Broadway bridge early Sunday morning.
The attack reportedly occurred between 2:20 and 2:30 Sunday morning. The victim told officers she was walking eastbound on the Greenbelt on north side of the river and had just walked beneath the Broadway bridge when the attack occurred.
The victim told police she was sexually assaulted but was able to get away. The incident was reported to police about 9 a.m. Sunday.
According to police, the suspect is a light-skinned male, 20 to 25 years old, between 510 and 61 tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds with a muscular build, blond buzz-cut hair and blue eyes. The suspect was wearing a black pullover hooded sweatshirt with a San Diego State logo. He had on dark shorts and skateboard-type tennis shoes.
