A Utah-based Hawaiian shaved-ice chain has entered the Treasure Valley market.

The Hokulia Shave Ice stands are at 4051 E. Fairview Ave. in Meridian and 2141 S. Broadway Ave. in Boise. They are franchise locations owned by Jeff Chatman of the Vancouver, Wash., area.

A third stand will open June 15 at 7500 W. Fairview Ave. in Boise.

The desserts can be ordered with a service of ice cream in the ice or topped with sweetened condensed milk.
