Warrant issued for husband of Nampa shooting victim

May 30, 2014

The Nampa Police Department has issued a warrant for Raudel Gonzalez, 45, accused of aggravated battery in the Thursday incident at the couple's home in the 400 block of Cedar Park Lane.

He is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing 205 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Authorities believe Gonzalez is driving a grey 1989 Nissan Sentra with a white hood. The car was originally reported as being taupe in color, but witnesses told police it was grey. The car, with Canyon County license plate 2C DZ528, has front-end damage, Sgt. Mike Wagoner said.

The woman was taken to a local hospital late Thursday afternoon with unspecified injuries. Wagoner said he did not have any information on her condition.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Gonzalez is asked to call Nampa police at 465-2257.
