Have you seen this man? He's an inmate who escaped the Adams County Jail

The Idaho Department of Correction is searching for an inmate who escaped from the Adams County Jail in Council Saturday night.

Robert Michael Williston, 47, is believed to have scaled the jail's fence, according to a release from IDOC.

Williston is described as an Asian-American man with black hair, brown eyes and olive complexion. He is 6-foot-1 and weighs about 195 pounds.

Williston was convicted of grand theft and first-degree burglary in Madison County, grand larceny and fraudulent use of a financial transaction card in Ada County, and burglary and attempted strangulation in Kootenai County.

Williston would have been eligible for parole in 2021.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Williston is asked to contact local law enforcement. In Ada County, non-emergency dispatch is 377-6790.
