Boise State men's tennis team loses to San Diego at NCAA regional

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — No. 25 Boise State's season came to an end with a 4-2 loss Saturday in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. Toby Mitchell won a singles match for the Broncos (28-5), and Brendan McClain was leading his when it stopped after the team victory was decided. McClain and Garrett Patton won their doubles match, as did Mitchell and Nathan Sereke.

BOISE STATE SOFTBALL: The Broncos lost their final game of the season 5-1 at San Diego State. Boise State (30-22, 14-10 Mountain West) finished in fourth place in the conference standings, while the Aztecs won their third straight conference title. Tara Glover went 2-for-3 to finish her career with a Mountain West-record 271 hits.
