Letter: Grateful for help with lost dog

May 10, 2014

Alex, a young boy, saved the day for a family who had recently moved to the Meridian area and lost their dog - an English setter named Dotty-Dear. He stopped skating to share vital information with the owner. He had seen the dog in question, and tried to call all the phone numbers on her tags. He saw the dog was soaking wet as she crossed Linder at Tully Park. He had the dog not 15 minutes before the dog's family arrived with prayers that the dog was not in the water. Thank you to Alex, and his family. A job well done!

Dotty-Dear managed to find her way home - there she was sitting on the porch and very happy to be home.
