Letter: Grateful for thoughtful people

May 10, 2014

We would like to give special thanks to some extra thoughtful people who recently helped us. Two very special young gentlemen, LDS missionaries, Elder Bowman from Texas and Elder Cortez from Gilbert, Ariz., on two different days helped push wheelbarrows loaded with topsoil from the street into our backyard at a run, while dressed in their spotless white shirts, ties and black trousers. One does not often see such kind offers of help from and to strangers.

Our second thanks go the gentlemen from Idaho Power Co. who worked all day Easter Sunday, cutting branches from a neighbor's tree that were threatening our powerline and had already crippled our cable, leaving us without telephone, television and Internet. They all deserve our recognition, gratitude and thanks.
