Boise police recover stolen rifles

May 7, 2014

A day after Boise police issued an alert for six rifles taken from an East Boise garage last month, the weapons have been recovered.

Police did not provide any details on what led to the rifles being recovered or where they were found.

No arrests have been made but police continue to investigate the theft.

Officers believe the suspect entered through a garage door that had been left open in a Columbia Village neighborhood off Highway 21.

All six semi-automatic rifles look similar in size and color. They are black military-style sporting rifles of various calibers.
