Ada County Pet of the Week: Lela the cattle dog mix

May 6, 2014

Lela, 4, is a spayed female, black and white, Australian cattle dog mix.

A little shy at first meeting, Lela blossoms into a devoted and loving girl. She enjoys having her tummy rubbed. She loves to spend time with her person one-on-one and her focus and desire to please will make her a rewarding dog to train.

She would do best in a situation where she can live indoors with her family. She does best with children over the age of 5. Lela has a short, easy-to-care for coat and is a nice medium size, weighing just 40 pounds.

Lela can be found in kennel 425 (#19073315) at the Idaho Humane Society at 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
