Highs this week in Boise will be in the low- to mid-60s, a few degrees below normal, according to the National Weather Service. Monday and Tuesday will reach about 64.

Today will be mostly cloudy, and there's a 30 percent chance of showers in the Valley this afternoon. Showers are likely in the mountains.

The next few days will be drier and sunnier, but there's a chance of showers on Thursday night and Friday.

The good news for gardeners is that overnight lows will be in the low 40s.

"I don't see much chance of frost at all in the Valley," a Weather Service meteorologist said Monday.
