One injured in Tuesday wreck on I-84

April 30, 2014

Ricardo Rodriguez, 35, of Phoenix, Ariz., was driving east on the freeway near the Locust Grove Road overpass at about 8 a.m. when he swerved left to avoid running into a vehicle that had stopped for traffic in front of him, the Idaho State Police reported Wednesday.

The 2007 Dodge Caravan driven by Rodriguez was struck on the side by a 2001 GMC Yukon following behind Rodriguez and driven by Melody Conley, 33, of Nampa. The Yukon then struck the back of a 2000 Toyota Camry driven by Farrah Harris, 36, of Lakeside, Mont. The Camry was the car in front of Rodriguez that stopped for traffic.

Harris was taken by ambulance to St. Luke's Meridian Medical Center for treatment.
