Two injured in I-84 crash near Ten Mile exit

April 29, 2014

Two vehicles heading east on the freeway stopped for traffic and were rear-ended by a third vehicle also traveling in the far left lane at 7:30 a.m.

Daniel Boren, 51, of Middleton was unable to stop his 2001 Ford Explorer in time. He ran into the back of a 2013 Ford Fiesta driven by Darlene Dickerson, 36, of Nampa. The Fiesta was pushed into a 2011 Chevrolet HHR driven by Zachary Bass, 34, of Caldwell.

The eastbound lane closest to the median was blocked for about an hour.

Bass and Dickerson were taken by ambulance for treatment at St. Luke's Meridian Medical Center. They were treated and released.
