Boise-area country radio station flips to Spanish format

Boise may be a country market, but that doesn't mean that the cowboys aren't actually vaqueros.

Classic country station 1260 AM flipped formats late last week to varietal Spanish. The station's branding is "Juan," which is not unlike the "Bob" that Treasure Valley listeners hear at 96.1 FM — except that these adult hits from the '70s, '80s, '90s and '00s are in Spanish.

I wonder if there's at least one song that both both Juan and Bob will play ...
