Pet of the week: Bruno the terrier/Chihuahua mix

April 29, 2014

Bruno, 1-1/2, is a neutered male, tan and white, Jack Russell terrier and Chihuahua mix. Bruno is house-trained and rides well in the car. At the shelter he has done well housed and playing with other smaller dogs, but he may try to act like a tough guy with large dogs. He will do best in a home with older, teenaged children. Bruno is a loving dog who enjoys snuggling in your arms. He can have a feisty side too, which will require an owner that can teach him some self-control through firm, consistent boundaries.

Bruno can be found in kennel 302 (#21904752) at the Idaho Humane Society at 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
