Bicyclist hospitalized, driver cited after collision in Eagle

The vehicle was headed west and turning on to Pebble Beach Way, and the bicyclist was traveling east. They collided on Floating Feather at Pebble Beach Way, according to the Ada County Sheriff's Office.

An adult bicyclist who was riding east on Floating Feather Road in Eagle was struck by a vehicle Sunday afternoon, according to the Ada County Sheriff's Office. The collision was reported at 5:47 p.m.

The woman, who was wearing a helmet, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Her injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Driver Julie Hanna, a 51-year-old woman from Rupert, was cited for failing to yield to the bicyclist.

Hanna was traveling west on Floating Feather and turning south onto Pebble Beach Way when she struck the bicyclist.
